Great Singletrack near Denver

Apex Trail
Found a new (to me) trail today- Apex Park trail. It's out near where 6th and I-70 come together. It has the most technical bike riding I've seen anywhere near Denver- steep climbs littered with boulders and sharp rocks, waterbars, more rocks, etc.

The main Apex trail follows a creek. Then, as you climb, it opens up into beautiful meadows. Looks like there are lots of other trails to explore there, too. I passed the signed trailhead to the "Enchanted Forest." Sounds nice- it looked rather dark and green over that way, too!

Here's the trail map:

Directions:
Take 6th West, pass under the 70, then take a left at the light, which is 40/Colfax. Go about a mile to Heritage Square, and park in the north end of their lot, where the trailhead is. The trail itself if very secluded and natural- just a couple of houses high up, the rest is all nature...
